The Pearl Health Center is looking for an enthusiastic experienced medical assistant, with experience with pediatrics. Medical assistants at Pearl Health Center assist the clinical staff in performing their duties and carry out the necessary functions required in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Job responsibilities at Pearl Health Center
*Room patients quickly, in anticipation of their arrival and check in status
*Prepare patient for examination
*Note brief history and the chief complaint in patient's chart
*Take and record vital signs
*Perform point of care testing
*complete lab and imaging orders for the providers
*Administer injections as instructed
*Assist the medical staff in patient education
*Stock exam rooms with supplies and maintain tidiness/appropriate presentation of exam rooms
*administer vaccines
*phlebotomy
*Assist with procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
